I'm Guzus X Revenge, a self-taught artist who lives and breathes anime, especially the dark, creepy side of it. Nobody handed me a degree. I learned by drawing every day, studying the shows and manga I love, and filling sketchbook after sketchbook. My family has supported me every step of the way.
My style is scratchy, textured and a little unhinged: characters with frayed coats, broken masks and stories you can feel before you read them.
I mostly draw original characters set in a world of relic hunters and sound-based monsters, and I take commissions for anyone who wants their character to feel just as alive.

Three rules
I draw by.
Silhouette first, details second.
If you can't recognize a character from their shadow, no amount of rendering will save them.
Leave the scratches in.
Construction lines, rough hatching and texture are the soul of a drawing. I keep the energy instead of polishing it away.
Every character has a secret.
Before I draw, I ask what your character is hiding. It always ends up in the pose, the eyes or the details.

Chapter 01
Hooked on anime
Anime, and especially anime horror, grabbed me and never let go. I started drawing the characters I couldn't stop thinking about.

Teaching myself
No classes, just practice. I copied panels, studied anatomy from fight scenes and filled sketchbook after sketchbook.

Family in my corner
My family backed my art from the start. Their encouragement turned a hobby into something I take seriously.
